We have 3 boats to choose from. Our flagship vessel Madevu SA, Madevu Royale, and our newly released smaller option; Vhutshilo.
1.Madevu SA is licensed to carry 45 guests.
2.Madevu Royale is licensed to carry 35 guests.
3.Vhutshilo is licenced to carry 22 guests.
No matter what the age, we guarantee a great time. From a 16th to a 60th every occasion is a memorable one. Madevu Charters knows how to make a successful function happen. Our up-market Catamarans are spacious with freedom to move about. All our boats also have toilet facilities, a great sound system with speakers throughout, Bluetooth enabled and always have the latest music available. All boats uniquely offer great viewing all around the boat. What better place to celebrate your birthday/ an anniversary or engagement to corporate functions. We specialise in logistic tours and offer logistic companies tailored rates. A great option venue to celebrate with your friends, along Durban’s beautiful coast line on quality boats specifically designed to host any function.
Madevu Royale And Vhutshilo are fully self-catering options. Madevu SA has a licenced cash bar onboard.

Logistic Tours:

Looking to do a tour of the Port/harbour, we offer up close and personal viewing. With our in house knowledge of shipping and the history of the port we can certainly add value to your tour.
We highly recommend using Madevu Royale for this as this vessel is great for smaller groups, the top deck has a full 360 degree un-interrupted viewing option,
Madevu SA is a welcome option if you looking for a luxury boat with all the bells and whistles.
Recommended minimum time for a port tour is 90 minutes. We do offer both 1- and 2-hour option on request.

Catering can also be arranged directly through one of our recommended caterers.

Ashes Scattering:

It’s never easy saying good by to a loved one. The last wishes of a friend or family member should be remembered and cherished. We offer 4 boat options to either suit the need, the amount of guests or simply the budget.
1. Madevu SA is ideal for larger families looking for a comfortable cruise, and can take up to 45 guests. Please note this option may be limited to certain times due to the tides and also the days.
2. Madevu Royale which is also a great option for a larger group of up to 35 Guests. This option is not limited to any tidal conditions and offers a great comfortable seating on the inside saloon area. If you worried for the elderly guests this boat will be just the option for you.
3. JamJar, this smaller option can carry up to 11 guests. It’s very versatile and can assist at any time. Very simple, no bells or whistles but can shoot out at any time.
4. Vhutshilo is the latest new option, also excellent choice for groups up to 22 guests. Will suit most families looking for something simple but comfortable. With cushion seating all around, and loo and a front deck area to attend the scattering, the guests will have a close and personal view and be a-part of the whole occasion.
The minimum time we hire these boats out for an ashes scattering is 90 minutes. Based on years of experience we will assist the client to get out to the right area and leave enough time to have a moment whilst out at sea.
These trips are based on the sea conditions on the day as these trips head out to sea. We do recommend having a backup day reserved should the weather not turn out good, discuss option via email.

Corporate Events:

We have 3 different boats to choose from:

Any Corporate event is a speciality of ours. With 3 boats to choose from we offer Madevu SA as our flagship option. With TV technology for boardroom presentations, a lounge setting which can seat up 35 guests upstairs in the main saloon and another 10 guest’s downstairs in the bar area. Move outside to one of 2 deck areas to get some fresh air, these areas have plenty more seating options. The back deck has a build in seat for around 12 – 14 people and the front deck can comfortably seat another 12 people. Please note in total, the maximum number in guests is 45 guests on any given trip. This option will suit a more discerning client. This vessel has a fully licence bar on-board.
Madevu Royale is a more relaxed option with a great indoor seating area of up to 30 guests with an excellent social space. Move outside to the upstairs viewing deck with seating for 8 people any given time to take in the sights and sounds and sounds, this boat will certainly be great for those slightly smaller groups. The front deck offers more seating space and a front view.
Most companies choose to use our boats because they are well kept, with clean loo facilities, and come in with a slight edge of luxury.
If catering is required we will put you in touch with of our local caterers and they will deliver to the boat and we will have it all set out and ready for you when you board.
